The Board framework we use is based on extensive research and application for board effectiveness. It is rooted in developmental psychology for optimal human fit and covers 6 lenses.
Our enquiry obtains a full picture of each of the individual lens and the interaction between the 6 lenses.
All our interventions and improvements are then referenced back to this same taxonomy ensuring a consistent framework is used to gain a realistic assessment of current maturity and also potential development objectives.

Act as a Critical Friend
- We act as a critical friend working with the collective, committees, key roles and individual board members to ensure the full system is thoroughly aligned through our probing enquiry balanced with a developmental ethos.
- Our focus, whether it is a full board review or a development assignment on a specific lens (e.g. succession, structure, ethics or dialogue), starting by treating each assignment as unique, working back from what actions and developments the board will need crafted carefully with each Chairman.
